''Tuz Gölü Habitat with Photos'' Exhibition

 

The opening of the "Tuz Gölü Habitat with Photos" Exhibition prepared by BOTAŞ at the Sultanhanı Caravanserai in the Sultanhanı district of Aksaray was held on 27 Octover 2020 with the honoring of our Minister of Energy, Fatih Dönmez, and the participation of Aksaray Governor, Hamza Aydoğdu and our General Manager, Burhan Özcan.

In the opening statement of the "Tuz Gölü Habitat with Photographs" Exhibition, Minister Dönmez stated that he came to Aksaray to see the projects implemented by BOTAŞ to protect natural life on site. Stating that the revival of the nature in Tuz Gölü is being witnessed, Minister Dönmez said that the number of flamingos in Tuz Gölü had increased thanks to the project, the region is home to several living creatures, especially flamingos, and that the number of flamingos, which had decreased to almost 3 thousands, has reached 25 thousands after the Tuz Gölü Underground Natural Gas Storage Project. Mr. Minister thanked all authorities and officials, especially our General Manager Mr. Burhan Özcan, and examined the photos after the opening of the exhibition.

Visitors to our exhibition immortalize this moment by taking a souvenir photo of “Tuz Gölü Habitat with Photos” on a commemorative board which recounts our Tuz Gölü Project.

Turkish and English promotional brochures were also distributed at the exhibition, describing our Tuz Gölü Underground Natural Gas Storage Project and its contribution to the environment.

In the historical atmosphere of the 800-year-old Sultanhanı Caravanserai, our exhibition, which reveals the unique beauties of the Tuz Gölü Habitat, which attracted great attention of both local and foreign tourists, remained open to visitors until 31 October 2020.
