In this regard, BOTAŞ registered its environmental sensitivity internationally once again by winning the Gold Award at the 2023 Green Apple Awards.
As one of the most prestigious international environmental awards in the world, The Green Apple Awards are presented annually by The Green Organization, an international, independent, non-profit environmental group founded in 1994 to recognize the best environmental practices around the world, reward the most environment-friendly companies and promote environmental awareness in the world.
BOTAŞ brings 29 International Awards to Türkiye
Between 2019 and 2023, BOTAŞ, which earned 2 Gold Awards at the Green Apple Awards last year, proudly represented our country in the international community by winning a total of 29 international awards, 24 of which were given in relation to the environment.

BOTAŞ was nominated in the field of "Sustainable Development" in the "Pollution and Emission Reduction" category with "Directorate of Silivri Operations, Carbon Footprint Calculation" and "Wind Power Plant Project" and it received Green Apple Gold Award, becoming the pride of Türkiye once again.
The company which competed against more than 800 candidates from various countries in the International Green Apple Awards, was delivered its award at the ceremony held at the London Parliament Building on November 20, 2023.
