BOTAŞ made Türkiye proud with 4 awards at Green World Awards, which is one of the most prestigious international environmental awards of the world; and it has announced its name to the world in this field. With the successful environmental projects it has carried out, BOTAŞ has also been awarded the title of "Green World Ambassador".
The positive impact of the Tuz Gölü habitat which was revived with the Tuz Gölü Underground Natural Gas Storage Project carried out by BOTAŞ, on the animal population in the region, was made into a documentary by TRT and broadcasted under the name "Tuzdan Kaleler/ Castles of Salt".
