As it continues its operations with the goal of "Being the Most Environment Friendly Organization", BOTAŞ left its mark on the 2023 Green World Awards with 5 awards it won.

Proudly representing our country in the international arena with the operations it runs in line with its vision of creating sustainable environmental value, BOTAŞ added a new one to its already several achievements in this field. Our company was deemed worthy of 5 awards this year at the Green World Awards organized by the UK-based The Green Organization, which was established to promote and develop the most environment friendly projects worldwide.

BOTAŞ was entitled to receive 5 awards, 2 of which are gold and 3 of which are silver, at the Green World Awards. Hence, as a reflection of its environmental sensitivity, number of international awards our company brought to Türkiye in the 2019-2023 period increased to 27.

Categories for which BOTAŞ received 5 environment awards are as follows:

1- Biodiversity Inventory Project:

Sustainable Development: Silver Award in the Sustainability in the Petroleum Industry category,

 Sustainable Development: Silver Award in the Conservation category,

2- Transfer of Seagrass Project:

Sustainable Development: Gold Award in the Environmental Policy category

Sustainable Development: Gold Award in the Sustainability in the Petroleum Industry category

3- Silivri Operations Directorate Carbon Footprint and WPP Project:

Environmental Improvement: Silver Award in Pollution Control category.
