The Turkstream Natural Gas Pipeline (TurkStream), which is constructed on the base of the Black Sea, connects Russia and Türkiye's natural gas transmission networks.

The pipeline consists of two lines with the total capacity of 31.5 billion cubic meters. The first section will supply natural gas to Türkiye, the second section will transport the transit natural gas to South and Southeast European countries through the territory of Türkiye.

The offshore component of the system consists of two parallel pipelines with a length of 930 km running through the Black Sea, starting near Anapa on the Russian coast, and ending on the Turkish coast in the Thrace region near the town of Kıyıkoy (Kırklareli), has been completed on 19 November 2018. The onshore section was completed and taken into operation in 2019 and natural gas transfer to Türkiye and Bulgaria via TurkStream has started as of January 1, 2020.
